The 30 to 40 movies which have been selected by the first jury will be shown to the public during these two public screenings. The audience will vote for its favourite short film and also choose 10 movies.

Closing Ceremony :

Friday, May 24th 2013, Cinema ABC, Toulouse

The best movies will be on screen at the Closing Ceremony. A jury composed of professionals from the film industry will then award prizes to the best directors.

Key dates

Application submission will start at the beginning of December. The exact date will be soon available.

The pre-selections

Pre-selection : At the end of February, a first jury composed of 10 to 15 members will evaluate all the short films we have received (about 200 movies). The jury is then divided in teams of two, who see around 20 movies each. They mark the films with a grid based on 30 points.

Selection of 30 short films : Following these results, 30 to 40 movies are selected. They will be shown to the public during a free screening.

First event : The public screening of the selected movies will occur on April 8th, 2013 within Toulouse Capitol University. It will be followed by a cocktail and the audience will vote for its favourite movie and will also select 10 short films.

Second event : The closing ceremony will take place on May 24th, 2013. The audience will discover the selected movies. The prizes will be awarded by the jury to the best directors.

Awards

Several awards will be offered. For this edition, the winners will receive three awards by the jury : The Best Short Film Award, The Best French Short Film Award, The Jury’s Favourite Award. Another prize will be awarded by the audience.
